This is a set of educational
modules intended as a self-study curriculum for MCH professionals in
the area of infant feeding and assessment. They were developed through
a partnership between the Arizona Department of Health Services and

project was partially supported by the United States Department of
Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services
Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau through grant #T79

The modules were developed by a Master’s level
public health nutrition trainee at The University of Tennessee as
part of a seven-week block field experience project. Development
occurred at and with support from the Arizona
Department of Health Services (ADHS) Office of Chronic Disease
Prevention and Nutrition Services, with special assistance
from:

The modules were intended as a tool to be used
by ADHS for training of state employees. Following the block field
experience, it was determined that the modules would be of benefit
to a larger audience. The curriculum was reviewed for content
validity by an expert panel and prepared for web-based
distribution.
