 A conference where ideas about research, programs, and policies are shared to improve the healthfulness of college campuses, hosted by USDA’s Healthy Campus Research Consortium.

Who: Health/wellness professionals, researchers, professors/instructors, Extension professionals, administrators, college students, and community partners interested in health promotion. 

What: An online, interactive learning process that will facilitate skill building and the development of collaborations that can enhance knowledge of research related to and programs and policies for health promotion on college campuses. Each day of the free online conference will contain an engaging mix of presentations about free tools attendees can use to assess and develop programs and policies to promote health and learn about existing programs and policies being implemented on campuses across the nation. 

Conference topics will include built environments, health promotion activities, sustainability, student advocacy, health promotion research in classroom settings, communicating about health, social media, and assessing barriers to and facilitators of healthy living on college campuses, students’ wellness behavior, students’ priorities, readiness for change, food security, stress and mental health, gardening, transportation, budgeting, and nutrition literacy.

When: November 29- December 1, 2022 11AM-6PM EST
