Prerequisite Courses
Nutrition prerequisites are determined on an individual basis at the time of admissions to the graduate program. In general, however, student applicants are expected to meet the competencies associated with the following courses prior to or during graduate study in Nutrition: chemistry, (general, organic and physiological/biochemistry), physiology, statistics, and introductory nutrition.
The GRE score is also required. While the GRE is not the only admission criterion we review, a combined verbal and quantitative score of 300 or higher and analytical writing score of 3.5 or higher is encouraged. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
