Public Health Nutrition Research

Public Health Nutrition research is conducted in two of our labs.

The Healthy Eating and Activity Laboratory, under the direction of Hollie Raynor, conducts research on factors that impact on eating regulation and energy balance that can be used to improve lifestyle interventions that assist with achieving a healthy weight in children and adults.

The Infant, Child, and Adolescent Nutrition Lab, under the direction of Katie Kavanagh, explores the behavioral aspects of infant feeding during the first year of life and the development of interventions to modify those behaviors that fall outside of current infant-feeding recommendations.
